My students, 11th graders at a public high school in the South Bronx, are absolutely amazing. This is the first year they have a writing lab, and this closer attention to writing is just what they need. However, as a high poverty school with 98% eligibility for free school lunch, many of my students don't own a printer, or even a computer. In order for them to reach their full potential, it is imperative that they have their work in front of them to revise during class. This gives me an opportunity to assist them, and help them flourish as writers.
