During the 2017-2018 school year, I transitioned from special education to a second grade classroom. I am thrilled to share my expertise in reading, writing and math specialized instruction with the general education setting. The main goal in my classroom is constant differentiated learning for every student. One of my favorite quotes is, "Every child has a gift, they simply choose to open them at different times." This is a motto that runs through my head throughout my teaching and has continued as I have moved to second grade. I focus on meeting each student where they are at and taking care of their needs.
