These books address social-emotional issues such as basic emotions (sad, love, angry), pandemic, and diversity. Through digital learning, I will read these books and create meaningful activities that can be completed as a class and at home. Many students that I teach need explicit instruction regarding emotions. These books will help address those issues in an engaging manner. With the current pandemic, kids need help understanding how the world has changed and why. Along with the pandemic, there are questions regarding diversity. There are books on this list that can help teach students about these topics. Once we return to school, safely, these books will be used by the teacher and integrated into the classroom library for personal use by students.
