This year we are transitioning from traditional desks to tables. The use of tables helps incorporate cooperative learning strategies and it helps build a classroom community. However, one thing missing from the tables is storage for students to keep their materials. Life's a snap when you've got a sack! Seat sacks are pocket sleeves that hang behind students' chairs. These seat sacks will help students keep their writing journal, math book, and other materials organized so that they are easily accessible to them. It will also be a time saver so that time won't be wasted handing out materials when they will be readily be available in their seat sack.
