I have been teaching for 29 years! And I am still passionate about teaching! I have taught all grades from K-3, but Kindergarten is my true love! I teach in an ethnically diverse neighborhood school. Most of my students live in the neighborhood. The majority of my students do not speak English at home. Our school is a Responsive Classroom School. We believe that developing social skills is as important as teaching academics. Our school has a very strong sense of community. I believe that developing the whole child is of utmost importance. Young children learn best by doing. I will do whatever is needed to help a child learn. Developing life long learners is my goal!
