My students are 3-5 year olds with Autism and other special needs, including Speech and Language Impairment. 50% of my students are also English Language Learners and most of them are also eligible for free/reduced-price lunch, meaning they may come from low-income homes and/or communities. My students are kind, curious, and bright children who love to learn. As part of their learning, development and special education goals, they are working on communication, language, social-emotional, fine and gross motor, and pre-academic skills. Pictures, icons, visuals, hands-on materials, adaptive materials/tools, and sensory tools support their learning and make learning fun!
