We need reading materials! I want to help increase my student's reading skills and I am in need of grade level books to help my students learn to read. Having a specified area for small group and large group reading will help increase my students interest in literacy and encourage them to practice their skills. My students need materials that will excite them and encourage them to read! My goal is to purchase a variety of leveled fiction and non-fiction books to build a classroom library. I also would like to create a reading area that will help organize these books with storage and a rug for large group reading. I envision my students using these reading materials to become proficient readers in a space that encourages a love of reading.
