Transitional Kindergarten is a special experience for children who turn 5 during the fall. We focus on developing language and learning through scientific inquiry, thematic learning projects, and student-led play centers. While we have fun every single day, students also acquire the academic skills they need to be excellent students. Our school is located in an inner city school district with a high level of poverty. My students come from families who work hard to provide good lives for their children and do what they can to support their children's education. My students' families and I make a great team as we support these bright, inquisitive children as they learn. We are hoping to add generous donors, like you, to our team!
