In my classroom, I try to incorporate movement as much as possible. I also love to give students choice when appropriate. Some of my students need to stand while working, and some like to sit on the floor. With a standing workstation, they would be able to keep their materials on the desk while still being able to stand and move while working. With floor pillows around a table, students would feel more comfortable in my classroom while still being able to focus on their work. This flexible seating will allow students to feel comfortable and focused in my classroom.
