I'm looking to purchase screen printing materials for students to enhance their art based skills through technology and hands-on learning. The students will be able to create a design using Adobe Illustrator and later on print the design on t-shirts. The money raised from the sale of the t-shirts will be used to support the cost of producing the school's annual musical. The students need screens, fabric acrylic paint, t shirts and squeegees to begin the project with AS220, a local community partner. We will be working with a community based non-profit to print the t-shirt and learn the necessary skills to design their own clothing. Students will incorporate mathematics into the project by learning about profit and income from selling the shirts to fund the school musical.
