My first grade classroom would benefit so much by having these leveled readers. I have some students who are reading at a level A (extremely below grade level) and some working at a level K (a second grade reading level). With these leveled readers, I will be able to group students based on their reading level and teach them the reading skills they need to grow. Watching some of my students struggle so much with reading breaks my heart. With these books, they can find books that are on their level and they won't feel so defeated when they cannot read a certain book. I will be able to sit down and read with them, listen to them read, and teach them everything they need to know to move onto the next reading level.
