1) With these chrome books, my students will be able to work in google classroom on their daily assignments, reducing paper waste and giving them an opportunity to increase their computer skills (in this day and age, computer skills are a must-have!). 2) DIFFERENTIATION: I will also be able to provide supplemental material to my students who are SPED, ELL/ESL, or are of a higher level than the rest of the class. 3) New Haven has a high diversity of students, and these chrome books will help me to meet each individual students' needs. 4) These chrome books will allow me to do Webquests - something I have never been able to do in my classroom before - to give the students an interactive learning experience that puts them in the driver's seat. 5) In addition, I can begin using programs such as Kahoot! for review before tests. 6) Finally, I have students who have difficulty writing (for various reasons), and these chrome books would allow them to type their assignments. This would lessen the stress for these students.
