My school is a K-8 Continuous Learning School. That means our scholars go to school year round. It is one of 160 schools in the district. We are located in a rough area, very stricken with poverty. Our school's mission is to develop a community built on respect and cultural awareness. The scholars come to school each day with a backpack full of challenges and hard times, but are ready and eager to learn.
