These magnetic letters will be used for students to build words, explore spelling patterns, and to identify morphemes. Students will be able to experiment with words using hands-on activities. For example, students will use these letters to build spelling words that connect to our weekly spelling patterns. They will identify the vowels, consonants, morphemes, and the spelling pattern for each word. Students will also use these letters to create simple sentences to practice basic sentence structure. Students will build sentences that include nouns, verbs, and their spelling words. This will build their spelling knowledge and help enhance their decoding skills.
