All students within my classroom work hard to be successful, and this means they sometimes require sensory and movement options to help them focus. Some of these options that will be used within my classroom include fidget seats, and ball chairs to help my students get a little movement while they are trying to focus. This also includes fidget balls and theraputty. I am also requesting light screens when lights become too bright, a weighted lap pad when students need deep pressure sensory support, and headphones when certain environments become too loud. They will be able to utilize most of these tools in the general education and special education environments, which will help them gain success in both environments!
