Hello! My name is Nicole Kowalski and I am looping with my 1rst grade class to teach them in 2nd grade at TISA (Taos Integrated School of the Arts). Last year, my class named themselves the "TISA First Grade Dragons" (our school mascot is the Dragon). True to their name, they are an energetic, fiery, magical group of kids. Before I started teaching full time 4 years ago, I spent my time doing visual and circus arts. Integrating our curriculum with art is a daily joy and creative challenge.
