My group of first-graders are full of energy and all have different personalities. These students come from very diverse backgrounds both culturally and linguistically. Coming from a Title 1 school sometimes isn't easy. It isn't uncommon for these students to come to school without any of their basic needs met. But, these kids come to school with smiles on their faces and ready to learn no matter the circumstances. Our school has limited funds and very little community resources. Our school also has a very high population of free and reduced lunch, which means it is heavily populated with very low income families. So, I am asking for you to please help support these students to become successful and continue to enjoy learning. Your generous donations are greatly appreciated by students, staff, and the community. It is through your help that we can continue to engage and inspire their curious minds.
