The two materials that I've listed will allow my scholars to succeed in physical education by fostering their creativity. We typically use gator balls (dodgeballs) at least once a week for various games. The scoreboard is one of my most needed items because I currently do not have one in my gym. Having a scoreboard in my class fosters a sense of urgency in students, as well as allowing us to make the most of every second of class. The recommendations for physical activity for kids is 3-5 times a week. I want to be sure to maximize the time that I have my students in PE so that we are able to effectively propel students into highschool and then adulthood with positive notions about physical activity. We want lifelong movers!
