Our classroom rug is a spot where my students meet multiple times during the day. Here they need to feel comfortable and have enough space to learn from us and each other. Not only does our rug provide a spot for group instruction, but students can cozy up to a friend and share a book, grab a clip board and lie on their tummies to write their next book. Our rug is placed in the front of the classroom and provides students a place of their own. These colorful spots on the rug will also help them find their place without worry!
