Virtual learning is relatively new to many school districts - especially small, rural ones like mine. It is easy to understand that we have been faced with reacting rapidly to the demands of teaching during a pandemic! The use of digital tools for remote learning is now a "new norm" and will be a daily activity in my classroom. The items requested in this project will allow me to see exactly what the students are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. By having these digital tools, students will be able to receive quality online instruction and focus on increasing their learning! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase our success in remote learning and teaching, you will ultimately help to increase academic achievement to prepare the students for third grade. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic content presented, and not whether their materials are clear or if technology is going to work or not. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
