The students in my mathematics classroom come from a small, rural community. Our school is a small, close-knit group of students and staff from various backgrounds. My students are a wonderful group of young people that make me look forward to going to work everyday! We spend our year learning to work together, learning to persevere through tough problems, and laughing a lot. A little bit of organized chaos and a lot of talking about math make each year memorable. Whether working at the whiteboards lining the walls or collaborating on Desmos, students can be found discussing mathematics and learning from mistakes.
