My students are passionate, insightful and creative eight and nine year-olds in North Carolina. Our public school has a diverse population of children with a variety of ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. We are centrally located between two prestigious universities, and I am grateful that my students have the luck of collegiate exposure at an early age. As their teacher, I aim to provide them with the knowledge and resources to one day achieve their goals of graduating college.
