My beautiful 3rd graders are eager, funny, imaginative, and cute as can be. We are a Title 1 school with a large percentage of English Learners and free/reduced lunch, but we work hard to build a strong sense of community and partnership. My classroom is a bright, cheerful, colorful, print-rich environment with many books, math tools, centers, games, and other helpful resources. We work hard in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science, but we also value time spent learning character-building, bully-proofing, visual and performing arts, physical education, technology, and art appreciation. My students inspire me every day and remind me why my job is so special. I love teaching and can't imagine doing anything else!
