I have 17 crazy, silly, loving 8 and 9 year old kiddos in my classroom. My school is in a low socioeconomic area. A lot of my student's parents work in the agriculture industry. Most of the parents work on fishing/oil boats or work on local farms. Even some of the students are working on their families farms. Some of these children do not have much, but they show a tremendous amount of appreciation for what they do receive from us!
