In today's day and age, the use of technology is everywhere! Therefore, it is important to adapt to the dynamic ways in which education is being transmitted. iPads are powerful tools that provide enhanced and personalized learning experiences for students. Through the use of tablets, it is possible to reach more students in a more efficient manner, as many programs offer features that differentiate ability levels. I would like to implement a technology station during our Math Centers and Daily 5 rotations using iPads. There are a plethora of exciting and engaging apps that make purposeful learning appear fun and game-like! Apps like Seesaw can also serve as a communication platform, connecting families to their child's work. Incorporating iPad technology into the classroom will additionally teach students the values of initiative, responsibility, and independence. My students will be able to take charge of their learning and be held accountable for daily work. They will learn how to care for and respect technology, while practicing acts of sharing with one another. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase personalized learning experiences for my students, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
