My students do their best every day to participate in classroom activities and expand their learning of music. We spend large portions of our class periods playing musical games that require us to remain seated in a circle on the floor. However, our classroom floor is tiled, making our seats rather cold and hard. Tiny bodies get antsy when they don't feel comfortable; our classroom could really benefit from something softer to sit on! Something as simple as a rug will do so much to help our students stay focused and stimulated. Even we adults struggle sometimes to keep on task when our bodies are uncomfortable -- imagine how much a softer sitting space could help such young children! The colors and musical information on this particular rug will also help students who struggle with attention find something to keep their brain engaged. Furthermore, this will help our younger classes more easily arrange themselves into a comfortable seating arrangement that is conducive to our learning environment. You can make a great change for the music students at our school! Thank you for all of your help.
