My school was just hit hard by the devastating Hurricane Ida. Much of our school suffered damages. I am asking for your help to rebuild our music program so every student can have their own instrument. These djembe drums are a great way for them to channel their energy into the instrument while learning about the history of the drum and establishing a sense of rhythm and meter. Additionally, these Boomwhackers are great and colorful percussion instruments to teach the students about pitches. A Boomwhacker is a lightweight, hollow, color-coded, plastic tube, tuned to a musical pitch by length. Your support in rebuilding my music program after Hurricane Ida would be much appreciated. I want my students to see our music classroom as a space where they can escape the hardships the storm has brought into their lives and get to have fun and be creative through music. Our city is strong and we will get through this.
