I teach a special education classroom that helps students with social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities. We focus on social-emotional learning, mindfulness, and working hard to reach our goals. My 3rd and 4th graders are intelligent and inquisitive students. Their ability to learn is directly related to their ability to self regulate, utilize break times, and to be hands on in their learning.
