I am the K-5 STEM teacher at a brand new elementary school in Clark County School District. Many people would think that a brand new school would have a budget for science materials, but the reality is, our budget is very tight and there isn't any left over to fund STEM materials for the entire school. I have a passion for creating hands-on activities for our school's students, and I end up spending a lot of my own money on the necessary supplies they need to create. My students are SO incredibly passionate about STEM and love being able to explore different materials and solve so many problems. If I could spend every paycheck on museum-quality STEM materials, I would! Thank you for considering our project!
