My students are English Language Learners who just haven't developed the literacy skills to be successful in their classes. They want to learn so badly, so that they can get on level and begin to master content in their other classes. My school is 70% Hispanic, and 50% of the population is currently identified as English Language Learners. Presently 100 percent of students receive free and reduced price lunch.
