Having these tablets and cases in our classroom will make a huge difference during our mathematical instruction. These tablets will allow us to incorporate math stations during our independent work time. Our school currently pays for a math program that incorporates technology into its instruction. Having a technology station as part of our daily mathematics routine will allow our visual, hands-on, kinesthetic learners the ability to move around during math which can play a great part into their learning. We currently have no access to technology in the classroom; therefore it is difficult to use our math program to its fullest potential. Unfortunately our students do no have this technology available at home either, leaving the technology aspect of our program unused. These barriers are not only limiting us from using this program to its full extent, but, also limiting the learners in my classroom. The ability to use tablets as part of our mathematics instruction will allow my students access to visual learning videos on new material, as well as, online assessments, games, and reteach activities that can foster their learning.
