This is the first school experience for many of my students. They are not used to sitting in hard chairs. By providing comfy chairs the students will be able to relax and really enjoy the reading corner for exploring books. Developing a love for literature is extremely important in the early years. Giving the Kinder kids the option to choose their seat lets them feel in control of their environment. Using the wooble stools will allow the children a little movement while they work without tipping over. I believe that focusing their energy to sit will allow them to focus their attention on learning.
