We are making a change in how our students are learning science. This year, I will be implementing the modeling approach to learning science which requires the students to develop knowledge through observation and discussion. The students will be required to use evidence and reasoning to support their ideas using the experiments, demonstrations, and both, small group and whole class discussions. Because of this, students who are absent will have a more difficult time developing their knowledge on the topics. I want the GoPro Hero5 Action Camera with accessories to record video clips of experiments, as well as, small and large group discussions to put on my class website for students who were absent. I want them to be able to benefit from the discussions as well.
