My middle school, self contained Autism classroom is full of fun-loving, amazing kids who sometimes need a bit more help with certain every day skills that neurotypical individuals never even think about, like personal space, hygiene, social greetings, etc. Each day we have a 55 minute Life Skills class, in which I hope to facilitate positive social, emotional, and behavioral learning via our classroom behavior book club. Each easy reading book (60 books total--check out my projects) will support a specific behavioral goal and has accompanying anchor charts, curriculum, and data collection. Please help me fund this awesome project for my Au-some students.
