Our school is a K-12 charter school, serving a student population comprised of 40% students with special needs and 60% students receiving free and reduced-price lunch. In contrast, the resident district for most of our students is 10% students with special needs and 10% free and reduced-price lunch. Our school provides a welcoming and supportive environment for students who come from low income households, but reside in an affluent district. Our school is able to provide a fit for students who struggle academically and benefit from smaller class sizes, increased levels of interaction with staff, and modified curriculum. Our students receive the extra support they need while being able to remain in the regular education classroom.
