M. Elementary is one of the most diverse schools in the Salt Lake City School District. With more than 30 languages spoken, M. educates students from all over the world. Odds seem against us for academic success with the number of English language learners and rates of poverty. But instead, M. won 1st place for most academic growth in the Salt Lake School District for 2012-2013. The staff and caring community strive to bring opportunity to the students in the Glendale community, and according to the growth, students respond.
