Remember when all you wanted to be was cool? And, you would do anything to be cool? Well, in my class "being cool" means reading cool books. It doesn't matter what reading level my students are on, if they can find a book that is appropriate for and interesting to them they will read it. When they find a book that they enjoy reading, they feel good, and enjoy learning more.
