I want to empower my students through literacy, reading fluency and global awareness through current events. "Time for Kids" will be used an article of the week assignment targeting the given common core state standard of the week and enhance my student's awareness of the issues that are happening around us. I want to get my students away from electronics and the social media that occupy their thoughts. I want give them exposure to the news that transpires all around us through literacy. Give them insight to the problems and celebrations from around the world. Thank you all for everything!
