My students truly have a gap in reading. They are struggling. I would like to give then the Flocabulary resources to help them enjoy learning the skills needed to become better readers. Most children love music and Flocabulary put the reading skills to music/rap. This way, my students will learn even when they do not realize it. That is the principle reason for wanting this program. When it comes to Brain Pop Jr., it would be a big plus for my classroom. My focus is the science activities that it presents; however, students can learn about many other subjects as well. I like this program because students can navigate it and get to the resources without me. It is appealing to students because the videos feature children and a robot. The videos can show the dialogue so students can follow along. The greatest part is that students are attracted to the videos that they learn without force. With the quiz, students can check themselves to see what information they retained. This helps students become more responsible for their learning. Reading in science is important. Some day they will. Besides all that, the teacher enjoys it too.
