I teach kindergarten at Thomasboro Academy, a year-round, Title I school in Charlotte, North Carolina. Many of my students come from really tough situations and backgrounds. They inspire me to be a better person and I want my classroom to be a safe place for them to come learn each and every day. My goal is to be a positive role model in their lives and to teach them to love, learn, and lead.
