My students come from low to middle class homes. All students at our school receive free lunch and free breakfast. My students are caring, loving, motivated, talented, creative, and smart. They are hard workers who love to learn. Even though some come from tough backgrounds, they show up to my classroom everyday with a smile on their face and are reading to learn. Even though they are in need, I have been teaching them the power of giving to others in need - others less fortunate than them.
