I am a creative teacher to 27 second graders (most of whom I looped with as their first grade teacher last year). I am passionate about teaching my students to be well-informed, inquisitive, caring leaders in our world. For the past six years I have worked with Imagine Schools, in a public charter school in Toledo, Ohio. Our demographic consists of 98% free/reduced lunch and what some would consider a challenging population. Our school, Imagine Clay Avenue Community School, has recently earned an "A" in Overall Value Added from the State of Ohio & recognized with the "Promising Practice Award in Character Education" among 284 public, charter, & private schools.
