These cameras will enhance learning and help integrate the arts in functional learning opportunities for students. Additionally, this project will allow students to learn attending skills, fine motor skills, an outlet for self-regulation, and a way to show the world in their perspectives. Students will be able to learn a vocational skill at a young age to help facilitate integrated arts in functional life skills. While out in the community, on campus, and in the classroom, students will have access to cameras and will have opportunities to document the world as they see it--from their own unique perspectives. After students have taken photos, students will work on editing photos, naming photos, and work on publishing/printing photos to create a photography gallery that will be on display for parents and visitors to see. These skill-sets will help students learn functional and important vocational skills that will help set the stage for their future.
