As a new Literacy Interventionist at my campus, I want to transform my classroom into a warm place for reading. I want to help develop the love for all things literacy! This rug will create a space where exposure of books on all topics is read about. Reading is an essential skill for success in school. My goal is to build the love for reading by modeling fluency and building vocabulary during a read-aloud on our rug. By reading to my students, I am going to ensure that I am doing everything I can, to allow the students to access higher-order skills in the process.

About my class
