My students are fourth grade students in a low economic school district. 90% of the students receive free and reduced lunch and there is a lot of transition. Many students are very needy in the areas of reading and math and the only assistance they receive with their school work is what they receive during the school day. They are hard working students who love to show what they know but they also need activities that allow them to be active and engaged.
