We need a 3D printer to complete their 3D designs. The access to design technology that a 3D printer will provide will be invaluable to all of my students and will help propel my classroom into the 21st century. 3D printing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. 3D printing is becoming more and more intertwined with the day-to-day operations of almost all businesses. 3D printing enables students to materialize their ideas in a fast and affordable way. My students have created 3D models on computers using CAD (Computer Aided Design) files. We do not have a way to bring their designs to life at this time, so their learning is not complete. I have chosen the FlashForge Finder 3D printer because it is loaded with easy-to-use features, and designed to be at home in kids rooms and classrooms. The Finder uses only non-toxic PLA, and the heated components are safely encased. The creative world of 3D printing and my students' futures await!
