Calling all engineers! We're looking for hands-on learners in our classroom! Being a STEAM school, I am always looking for ways to get more materials into my students hands. I want to give my students a chance to explore, build, design, and most of all, create and use their imagination! Having STEAM bins in our classroom will give my students more opportunities to get their hands dirty and building. I want to create lifelong learners and foster the engineering and design process in as many students as possible. We plan to do this using Gears! Gears! Gears!, K'NEX, Brackitz, and Playmags (just to name a few)! I believe these bins will help enrich my students' experiences at school while reaching those creative outlets that so many of us enjoy putting to use. These bins will be a sure-fire addition to our classroom and STEAM choice time!
