The materials I am requesting are engaging read alouds for introducing and teaching growth mindset for a K-2 audience. The books address the different strategies and ways of thinking in order to best meet their emotional needs during this unprecedented times. These resources will provide a stepping stone for in-depth lessons with activities for the children to develop a stronger mindset. Each lesson begins with one of the selected read alouds that will prompt age-appropriate discussions surrounding empathy and social emotional learning topics. Following each read aloud and discussion, students will have the opportunity to be engaged in planned activities connected to the story that will support social emotional growth.
