Returning to in person learning this year has been difficult as students are learning to re-adjust to an environment that is much less personalized to their individual needs than their own homes. As students are asked to stay seated, maintain social distance, and follow a rigorous schedule, it's easy to see the impact, especially for our students with special needs. Flexible seating offers students the ability to work in a way that meets their need for movement and choice in the moment. When young students feel wiggly, wobble stools and kick bands will give them the ability to get those wiggles out without disturbing their peers. Lightweight stacking stools will give us more flexibility to move students around, and group as needed- even outside! These options will help us to create a classroom that bridges the gap for our students, and helps ease the transition back to in person learning.
