Now more than ever in the midst of this pandemic and coming back to school students need Social Emotional Learning and supports. In talking about our SEL learning I love to give students strategies to help them cope with stress and negative feelings they may be experiencing. The small photo cases will be used to store different strategies and ideas we discuss for the students to refer back to throughout the year and the rest of their lives if they so choose. The Happy Bird art project allows students time to let their creative energy flow while creating something silly to make them smile! For this project, we will be utilizing the canvases, paint, and sharpies. The large cases will be used to store any extra canvases and the sharpies to be used multiple times throughout the year.
